The Cedarloo Skateboard Association is a community-driven nonprofit dedicated to growing skateboarding and giving back to the Cedar Valley. Since 2018, Mason has served as Event Coordinator, working alongside boardmembers, local skaters, supporters, and the City of Waterloo to help rebuild the Exchange Skatepark after its destruction. What started as a grassroots effort has grown into a thriving community hub that brings people together through skateboarding.

Since the park’s rebuild, Cedarloo has hosted multiple events each year focused on inclusion, creativity, and community impact. Signature events like the Game of Skate, the 4th of July Show, and the Cedarloo Slam have become summer staples, drawing skaters and families from across the area. Funds raised through these events go directly back into the community, helping provide skateboarding equipment to families in need and supporting underprivileged youth—ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to skate, belong, and thrive.
